Privacy Policy

“I See Jesus” is a Christ-centered Bible study companion. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

• Account information: your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash) to create and sign in to your account. If you use Google Sign-In, we receive the email and name Google shares with us.
• Study content you create: scripture studies you run, questions you ask, personal notes and reflections, reading-plan progress, and custom reading plans you generate. This content is tied to your account and private to you.
• Usage data: anonymized analytics events (for example, that a study was completed) to help us improve the app.
• Device and local storage: the app stores your sign-in session and, for signed-out use, notes in your browser’s local storage on your device.

• To provide your account, save your studies and progress, and sync them across your devices.
• To send the optional daily Bible-study reminder email if you have it enabled.
• To display scripture text and generate study insights and reading plans.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the app and fix issues.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Your account and study data are stored securely on the app’s cloud platform (Base44). Scripture text is retrieved from the public bible-api.com service. Sign-in with Google is handled by Google. We share information only as needed to operate these services, or where required by law.

• You can view and delete your studies, notes, and plans at any time within the app.
• You can delete your entire account and all associated data from Settings → Delete account. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
• You can enable or disable daily reminder emails.
• You may sign out at any time; stored session data is removed from your device.

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
